MAP Certification Fees

These fees are payable along with submission of the completed MAP veterinary inspection form. MAP Certification does not include fees charged by the inspecting veterinarian. The applicant is responsible for covering any fees charged by the veterinarian to travel to the facility, carry out the inspection and fill out the forms.

New applicants must have two annual inspections, followed by reinspection every two years.

If certification lapses for a period of more than one year, the applicant may be required to restart the process with two annual renewals.

Fees for the initial, first year MAP certification are:

$50.00 for 1-15 flights, cages, or pens; or

$100.00 for 16 or more flights, cages, or pens.

Each renewal requires a veterinary reinspection at the applicant's expense.

The fees for renewals are:

$25.00 for 1-15 flights, cages, or pens; or

$50.00 for 16 or more flights, cages, or pens.

Please see the MAP Process page for more complete details.
